Exterior and interior repaints Verhaalen crews have completed for HOA and multi-unit communities across greater Portland and Southwest Washington.
For 40 years, Verhaalen Painting has helped HOA boards and property managers keep their communities looking their best. Our employee crews have painted more than 10,000 units across condominium, townhome and multi-family properties, from single-building refreshes to multi-phase community repaints.
Recent projects include Promenade at Bethany Condominiums in Portland (102 units across 3 buildings), Arbor Roses in Hillsboro (269 units), Parker Village Townhomes in Camas (62 units) and Gresham Station Condominiums (60 units). Browse the photos below to see our exterior and interior work.

7–10 years, depending on several factors: the type of paint (acrylic latex performs best), paint quality (you get what you pay for), the surface (fiber-cement siding and trim hold paint better than wood), sun and weather exposure, prep quality, and application quality — Verhaalen does the job right the first time.
We like Sherwin-Williams, and we also use Benjamin Moore, Rodda and Miller — all excellent manufacturers. Each offers different quality tiers; we recommend the higher-grade options where possible, because they last longer.
Yes. We include a 5-year unconditional labor warranty with most paint jobs, and the paint manufacturer provides a separate warranty for the life of the paint job.
Yes — fully licensed, bonded and insured (CCB #85508).
40 years.
Every painter at Verhaalen is a Verhaalen employee — we have never hired subcontractors. We promote from within: crew leaders have worked with us at least 5 years before promotion, and production managers are always promoted from within.
